Project 1- The Whole 30 Challenge

Allie and I had been talking a few weeks ago about how we both wanted to eat healthier. I mentioned getting a book from the library on recommendation from the Today Show (if you know me at all, you’ll know that I seriously LURVE the Today Show). The book was “Whole 30.”

I knew it was the second book that the Hartwigs had released, but “It Starts with Food” wasn’t as readily available. After doing some flipping through the book, I knew I wanted to try it.

I told Allie about the basic concepts and she seemed interested as well. She texted me last week and asked “when are we starting our clean eating challenge?” I texted back “Monday?”

She came over tonight and we talked at length about the program (which is a clean eating challenge on steroids). We talked through meal planning and how to handle restaurants and challenges (she’s going on vacation in June and I have my brother’s wedding in 2 weeks…). We are a little nervous, but also excited to see how our bodies respond.

We wanted to invite you to join not only this project, but our other projects along the way!
